Aralco recognizes sustainability as a strategic  key  to accomplish its mission. Focusing actions in environmental and social areas, to enable the preservation, conservation and restoration of natural resources, as well as the development and well being of the community.
The design and implementation of programs that emphasize product quality, mitigation and / or minimize impacts to the environment are constantly being developed, always with the focus of continuous improvement.
Aralco always guided the ongoing investment in new technologies and improving the production process so to ensure greater operational efficiency and improving the production process, so to ensure greater operational efficiency and lower demand for natural resources

Aralco units receive public and private schools to know the process of transforming sugar cane into ethanol and sugar. The visit takes one day  with lectures on the manufacture of sugar and ethanol, the sustainability of the culture of sugar cane and the importance of environmental preservation.




Aralco sponsors the athlete Rafaela Gonçalves Miguel, three times state champion, Brazilian champion once, 4th place in south American competition and 5th at the Panamericano. Due to the encouragement of Aralco, the athlete Rafaela had the opportunity to represent Brazil again with Fabio Hisatugo as coach, that today works as coach of the Brazilian confederation of Karate (CBK in Portuguese).

Since 2001, the Project sponsored by Aralco "Ser Aralco" - Secretary of Sports and Recreation, coordinated by Vera Lucia Goetz (Vera Popcorn). Aralco's partnership with the Municipality of Araçatuba aims to make social inclusion through sports, forming not only athletes, but good men. Passed through the project more than 700 kids.
Can participate  boys from 7 to 16 years, regularly enrolled and attending school. To keep the project you must have good grades and good behavior both on and off the court. Currently there are 90 participants.
This project came out the athlete Hettsheimeir Rafael, part of the Brazilian national team and Basketball in Zaragoza, Spain. Besides this, after he took the opportunity in the sport, many others had access to higher education through scholarship in several areas.

TRAINING OF DRIVERS AND OPERATORS.

With the increase of mechanization and the end of burning already provided by law until 2014 required the training of manpower remaining. In this program, the training of rural workers is constant and the employees learn to operate tractors, cane harvesters through theoretical and practical training.

The effective program also extended the work of prevention, starting to act as a movement of social protection-Demanding Love, as to discourage experimentation, and the use or abuse tobacco, alcohol and other drugs as well as fight against all what makes young people vulnerable to exposure to violence, crime, traffic accidents and corruption in all its forms are also proposals of Love-Difficult.
